The game is split into different areas that are displayed by the screenshot below.
To the left you will find the name on your civilization, click on it to view your current ranking on the server. The resource bar will give information about your civilization’s total resources and population, which includes all your villages. Your resources will not exceed the cap for each resource unless you recieve a packet of resources at a single time. The maximum cap can be extended by upgrading certain buildings.

To the right of your name there are two icons. The first icon opens up a notepad where you can store information. This is a premium service and can only be accessed if you have bought the premium package. |

The second icon opens up the statistics page where you can find valuable information about your villages and armies. |

This is the basic resource gained from lumbering trees. All civilizations have a basic income of wood. |

This is the basic resource gained from quarrying. All civilizations have a basic income of stone. |

Iron must be researched. When you have it researched it will automatically be extracted from your stone income. This is a more advanced resource that is extracted from stone. It is normally used for warfare and advanced technology, e.g. catapults, upgrading units etc. |

This is an expensive resource and is normally used as the exchange resource when trading at your marketplace. It is also used for training certain units, upgrading certain buildings, and sacrificing. To unlock gold you have to claim a second village and build at least one Gold Supply. When you unlock gold you will also be able to build the Marketplace. |

This is an extremely rare and expensive resource and is normally used for very specific things such as training your divine Uber Units, upgrading units and sacrificing. To unlock diamonds you have to claim a village in the Molten Ashlands and build at least one Diamond Supply. There are items called Pouch of Diamonds that will yield diamonds on a regular basis though they are very rare! |

All units require certain free space in your population depending on their size and power. If you overpopulate your civilization you will start to see some negative effects. If you bring this overpopulation too far, units will begin to starve and die all around your civilization. |
This area lists all your villages and armies that you currently have.

The upper area lists all your villages and you can control a maximum of 5 villages’ total (one for each terrain zone). |

The lower area lists your field armies in which you are allowed 2 for each village plus your first home army. |

To the left of each village you will see an icon indicating what terrain zone that village is located in. |

Toggle background music on/off by clicking on this symbol. The background music is off by default. |

Toggle tips box on/off by clicking on this symbol. Tips will try to lead you in a right direction if there is something that you have not done yet. |

Toggle world chat on/off by clicking on this link. The chat lets you talk to other players that is currently online on any server. |
This area will have many views that you can toggle between by using the navigation in the upper part of the area.
In the screenshot above we have the map view selected. You start the game with only two views, the map view and the village view, but more will be available as you create armies and construct new buildings.

The map tab will take you to the world of Aloriah in which you can explore by using your armies. |

The village tab in the navigation will lead to the village that is selected in your left panel. |

If you click on one of the names in the army list you will open up that army inside the army tab. |

The diplomacy and research tabs are not available in the beginning of the game. They become available once you have researched the appropriate buildings and built them inside your village. |

These texts give information about your current location. Notice that the coordinates changes whenever you move your cursor over a cell on the map. The name "Green Fields" indicates what terrain zone that you have in focus. |

You can navigate around the world by clicking on the arrows that surrounds the map. |

Use the search fields to jump to a certain location on the map. Click on the "center on"-button once the coordinates are typed in and it should center it on the map. |

The mini map gives a greater overview of the world. The red cross markes the spot where you have your current view. |

In the upper right corner of the content area you will find four icons; the notifications log, the tutorial guide, the chat and the scenario. |

The notification log gives information about things that have happen during the time you are away from your keyboard or being offline. |

Click on the icon to open up the tutorial guide giving information about the basics of the game and how to manage certain things. Use this whenever you want quick reference to anything associated with the game. |

The chat will let you send and receive messages from other players on your server.

|
The scenario page gives all information you need to know about the scenario. A scenario is a great world event that affects the world you play in. |

In the lower right corner of the map view area you will sometimes find your civilization effects that affect your entire civilization. These can either boost your civilization positively or negatively. You will find them very important as your civilization grows and becomes larger. |
The information panels will differ depending on which view you have chosen from the navigation field. For instance, the panels in the map view gets information on selected cells on the map that could either list different terrains, villages, armies or specific locations.
No matter what, these panels will always give additional information related to the chosen page.
