You can communicate with other players in game using the mailbox service. To enter your mailbox click on the envelope located on the right side of the interface.
The mailbox is divided into two categories: private and alliance. The private category is listed on player names whereas the alliance category is listed on topics that the leader has created.
Follow these steps to start a conversation with another player:
|
|
1. Click on the envelope in the menu located on the right side of the interface to open up the mailbox. |
|
2. If you already have a conversation with another player simply click on his/her name in the list to the left, then post a reply in the text field at the bottom of the page. |
|
3. If you want to send a message to someone new or if you have deleted a player from the list you will have to click on the “compose message”-button in the upper right corner. |
|
4. A new window is opened where you can type in your recipient and message. |
You will know that you have unread messages when you see a yellow exclamation mark on top of the envelope in the menu.
Once inside the mailbox window you can see in which category you have new messages by looking at the top menu buttons.
Each player/topic in the list to the left will have numbers indicating new posts as well.
It is possible to erase a player from the list by clicking on the little red cross. This will hide the conversation between you and your recipient, however it will not delete the conversation for the other player. For a post to be fully deleted both will have to erase each other from the list.
Unlike the private tab, conversations within your alliance are listed on topics instead of players. Each new alliance has a set of topics from start: general, bank, expansion, goals, diplomacy, wars and introductions. The alliance leader is the only one who can delete a topic.
The leader can create a new topic from text field found at the bottom of the page. Topics will immediately be added to the list when created.
