Items

Throughout the game you are going to find items of various kinds.
Heroes or villages can only equip these items but your armies will be able to carry them inside the inventory for you.
To view information about an item simply hold your mouse cursor over the item image.

Item requirements

Items can only be equipped by your heroes or by your villages. There are no items that can be equipped by both. Requirements are shown inside the tooltip for the item.
Unequipped items are grayed out.

Item types

An item can either be normal or consumable. Normal items give your army or village a passive effect when equipped. Consumable items on the other hand must be used by your army for the effect to carry out. This action can only be performed by an army lead by a hero.

To use a consumable item follow these instructions:

  1. Make sure your item is stored inside your hero inventory
  2. Open up the command menu by clicking on the cell where your army is at on the map.
  3. Choose the use item command from the list
  4. Click on the item that you would like to use and the action will be added to the command queue.
  5. You can at any time cancel the command without losing your item.
  6. Consumable items will be removed upon use.

Quality Levels

All items that you find are of a certain quality. More valuable items will drop as you progress further into the world. Hero skills and items can affect the drop rate on items and also the chance to find better quality items.

The quality levels are indicated by certain colors in game. Each item has a border of the same color as the quality.

The item qualities are listed in the table below:

Item Quality Attributes Special Rules
Common 1 no
Uncommon 2-3 no
Rare 2-5 no
Epic 3-5 no

* Unique means that there are only one of each item.

Selling Items

You can sell items in exchange for gold. Follow the instructions below.

Peace request field

1. To sell an item you have to manually drag and drop it on the sell icon that appears in the lower right corner of the content area. See picture.

Civilization Points

2. Once you have done this, a new window appears where you can see how much your item is worth.
3. Choose to proceed by clicking on the yes button.

How much gold you get is depending on the rarity of the item. You can also improve your sell rate through research and various effects.

You should think twice before selling your good items, as there is no way to get them back.
