Scenario

What is a game scenario?

A scenario is basically a great world event that affects the entire game server that you are playing on. It will add content to the world you choose to play in, for example: different kinds of events and rewards, a great storyline but also new goals to strive for.

The game Aloriah is actually a never-ending game that is played in game rounds based on these game scenarios.

For how long is a game scenario played?

A game round’s length depends on how fast players on the server can complete the goals given by the scenario. This is a process that varies for each scenario but is estimated to take at least 2-3 months.

In the only scenario we have right now: the Ancient Race, the scenario ends when a player on the server slays the Mother Dragon.

What happens when a game scenario has ended?

Once the players have completed the final goal for a game scenario the game will be frozen and unplayable. The fog of war that normally hide content on the map will be revealed to everyone and a result page for the scenario will be available.

There will also be a countdown to when the server is closing down.

The result page gives information about civilizations that accomplished special tasks throughout the game round

Achievements are handed out to players depending on their efforts during the game round.

To continue playing Aloriah in another world the player must leave the current server and choose a new one. Leaving the server is done from the account information page.

The player will then have to start a new civilization from scratch on another server but the achievements accomplished in earlier game rounds will remain as well as certain long-time rewards that the player has earned.

How do I advance in a scenario?

The key to advancing in the scenario is collecting scenario points by contributing to the scenario goals listed on the scenario page.

These goals are common to everyone on the server and require many people in order be successfully worked out.

The importance of expanding your civilization as the scenario progresses is also crucial to successfully gain scenario points throughout the entire game.

There are different scenario goals for each terrain zone. By taking over a new village in another area it will be easier to contribute to the scenario goal associated to that place.

However make sure your civilization is ready to meet the new dangers that await you in the new area.

What are scenario points?

Players will get scenario points for contributing to the main event for the world they are playing in.

Civilizations are ranked by scenario points on the server and the player with the most scenario points at the end of a game round will be awarded with a special achievement and some special rewards.

The more scenario points a player has gained throughout the game, the easier it will be for that player to assist the final goal for the scenario.

Do I have to involve myself in the scenario?

No, there are still other things to do in Aloriah that does not require you to be involved in the scenario.

A player might want to increase his Achievement Trophy Shelf or play out his own wars against other players.

However players will find it to be hard to be among the top players on the server if not contributing to the scenario at all.

What rewards can I get for completing a scenario?

Your ranking for that round will be saved and shown as a proof of your Success on the realm for all eternity.

You will get achievements for accomplishing certain things in the scenario.

Achievement points can grant you access long term rewards such as permanent civilization effects.

A full list of achievements for the scenario can be viewed on the achievements page. Some achievements are unique for the current scenario and are only given to a few players on the server,
some of them to a single player alone.
