Villages

- Settle new village

To settle a new village you must have one or more settlers in your army. Once you have a settler in your army you will be able to issue the settle command from inside your command menu on any empty village spot on the map.
You can only have one village for each climate zone

Your civilization must also have a specific amount of civilization points (CP) to settle a new village.
Increase your civilization points by upgrading your Council Hall, researching and equipping certain items in your village.

Notice! That some scenarios may have events that block you from settling a village in certain terrain zones. Find out more about this on the information page for that particular scenario.

Timing

Although it is possible to settle an empty village spot from anywhere on the map it is recommended to move your army as close as possible to the spot to quicken up the process.

How to settle your first village

Follow these steps to settle your first village:

  1. Upgrade your Council hall to level 5 to get 5 civilization points and be able to train settlers.
  2. Train one settler. It might be expensive for a beginner.
  3. Find an empty village spot in Tropical Islands. Empty village spots are not visible through black fog so you must first reveal it. You can reveal black fog by exploring the map by yourself, using Farsight (Magician class command) or using the "Reveal black fog" (premium service).
  4. Move out your army together with some units and preferably your hero.
  5. Select your army and perform the settle command from the command menu for your army on the empty village spot. During the time you perform the settling command your army is hiding and unable to engage in combat.
  6. The closer you move your army to the village spot the faster it takes to settle.

In the table below you can find information on how many civilization points and settlers you need to settle your villages.
